Description

Workshop with final presentations by the LIP Summer Students, summarizing the research work performed over the summer at LIP.

The work is carried out by the students, while integrated in the LIP research groups.

Reports should be planned per project for a duration of 15 minutes followed by a discussion period.

The presentations are organized in 8 sessions, covering the offered topics in the  research areas:

  • Physics at the LHC
  • Cosmic rays, neutrinos, dark matter
  • Structure of matter, heavy ions
  • Detectors & instrumentation

When: September 5th & 6th, 2018

Where: Auditorium of the LIP 3is complex (Lisbon); University of Coimbra; University of Minho (Physics Department Auditorium, on Thursday morning).
