8th LIP/IDPASC PhD Students Workshop
Auditório B1, Complexo Pedagógico 2
Braga
The 8th LIP/IDPASC PhD Students Workshop will be held from 16 to 17 October 2024, at the University of Minho, Auditorium B1, Complexo Pedagógico 2, (Campus de Gualtar), in Braga. The workshop will start on Wednesday, 16 October after lunch (around 14:00) and will end on Thursday, 17 October (around 18:00).
LIP and IDPASC (IDPASC-PT, PT-CERN and ProtoTera programmes) PhD students are expected to deliver a talk on their research (5mn+3mn). Registration and the submission of a short abstract is mandatory.
We have booked rooms at Ibis budget Braga Centro and ibis Braga Centro. The management of the rooms is done by the secretariat.
For the IDPASC students from other institutions, the LIP secretariat may take care of their accommodation, but the costs should be supported by their host institutions.
LIP will not organize a transfer (bus) for the event. The secretariat will purchase bus/train tickets for LIP PhD students. A group reservation will be made, depending on available space on public transport (train or bus).
IDPASC students from other institutions should buy their own tickets.
