Oral Presentations and Posters are welcomed in the following areas:

  • Cooperation between Iberian Research Communities

This track aims at describing research projects jointly undertaken by Spanish and Portuguese research institutions, either by themselves, or in cooperation with institutions from other countries as well. We welcome contributions showing complementary domain expertise and exploitation of synergic effects at the Iberian level.

  • Enabling Research Applications in advanced Digital Infrastructures

The track aims at featuring work related with enabling scientific application integration in the EOSC, EGI and IBERGRID ecosystem. Distributed computing application in Grids and Clouds, distributed data management, data processing in community specific or national data repositories are welcomed.

  • Enabling and fostering Open Science adoption

This track aims to feature contributions describing technical integration, policy development, success stories and/or ongoing work towards the adoption of FAIR data, and in general, developments oriented to foster the adoption of the Open Science paradigm.

  • Development of Innovative Software Services

The track aims to featuring innovative solutions being pursued in service development and implementation. The session welcomes both production level and ongoing developments. Pilot service implementation, and description of its potential usability for wide user communities are also welcomed.

  • R&D for computing services, networking, and data-driven science.

This track aims to show the work of computing and data centers in developing and/or implementing advanced tools, services, infrastructures and methodologies to serve the needs of cutting-edge research projects using Cloud, HPC and Distributed Computing.

Tutorial on Innovative Computing and Data services to Researchers

On Thursday 26th the project EOSC-synergy organizes one-day tutorial dedicated to introduce scientific and technological users to Cloud infrastructures.

The attendance to the tutorial is free of charge for those registered in IBERGRID 2019. A certificate will be issued to the attendants.
