August Chats

These "mid-term" chats take place in August -- in between the July induction week and the September workshop -- using the traditional LIP Seminars slot. These are however not formal seminars! These are rather informal gatherings where the students briefly introduce themselves and their research project to their fellow students.

What (to present):

• brief introduction to research topic
• not an exhaustive overview of work planned
• pick instead one specific problem or challenge you'll be addressing

How:

• 10 min long presentations per project + discussion
• few slides (or other means)

When:

• during August, one day each week, at 11:30am (see agenda)

Where:

• 3Is seminars room (+video-conference)
