Description

The Lisbon mini-school on Particle and Astroparticle Physics provides undergraduate students with a comprehensive introduction to the field, covering both theoretical and experimental aspects. This school will give insight into recent discoveries and to open challenges and will stress the research opportunities in the field in Portugal.

The school is mainly aimed to third-year undergraduate students who have completed the course in Quantum Mechanics I.

On Saturday, a hands-on session will allow students to experience and have contact with the main tools and techniques in the area. Students are advised to bring their laptops and, if possible, have Mathematica and/or ROOT installed.
