Description

Colliding atomic nuclei at high speeds we investigate the internal structure of their constituents
and reproduce for a split second the conditions inside supermassive objects in the Universe such as
neutron stars. This is what physicists do in experiments such as HADES. In this session an overview
of recent theoretical and experimental results will be given.
