The programme of this session will focus on the recent update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics. It includes a set of presentations that should serve as introduction and trigger discussion.
The longer term goal is to organise a series of similar discussion sessions, aimed at the Portuguese community involved in particle physics and related areas:
- Collider-based particle physics
- Fixed-target physics
- Neutrino and astroparticle physics
- High-energy nuclear physics
- Related technology: detectors and accelerators
- Technological and societal applications
