Description
The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project approaches construction for it Phase1. As part of science delivery, SKA1 through the AENEAS H2020 project aims the design and constitution of its EU Regional Centre with node in several SKA1 Members countries. Portuguese ENGAGE SKA RI partcpates in the design and specification of a distributed, European Science Data Centre (ESDC) to support the pan-European astronomical community in achieving the scientific goals of the SKA. AENEAS consortium includes a Spanish partner, the IAA-CSIC, thus being a framework to promote the Iberian collaboration in the context of the SRCs. We intend to highlight current contributions from Portugal and Ibearian collaboration with IAA-CSIC to this endeavor.
