The school starts with an introduction to Particle and Astroparticle Physics.
The first day is based on lectures that will introduce the Standard Model of Particle Physics and focus on the experimental challenges in the field.
The school then focus on recent achievements with a practical session where sessions of hands-on will be organized so that the students can have contact with problems and tools used in HIgh Energy Physics.
The last day is reserved for the presentation of current research opportunities in Portugal. In this session, that brings together researchers and students, master thesis proposals will be presented by researchers. The school ends with a lunch where further student-researcher interactions are expected.
