The 12th MEFT Student Workshop is a 2-day conference during which Physics Engineering students at Instituto Superior Técnico will share their projects with an audience of colleagues and professors.

Each student will prepare a 10-minute talk to present a video (4 minutes) and a short pitch (3 minutes), followed by 3 minutes of questions from the chairpersons and audience. 

This takes the form of a typical scientific conference, with the objective of inspiring the students and kickstarting their scientific careers. This is not only symbolic, as it also represents the first step of their Master Thesis.

Important details about the evaluation of presentations (please submit a separate form for each colleague presenting):

  1. Access: Use your IST email to access the forms.
  2. Identification: Enter your IST number (e.g. 123123) in the designated field.
  3. Selection: Choose the colleague you wish to evaluate from the provided list.
  4. Fairness: Focus your evaluation on aspects within the presenter’s control. For example, technical issues like poor projector image quality should not negatively impact their grade.
  5. Multiple Submissions: You may submit more than one evaluation for the same colleague; only the most recent submission will be considered.
