Description

A relativistic quark-diquark model for the baryons based on the covariant spectator theory will be presented. Results for the nucleon structure will be shown. The model is applied to deep inelastic electron scattering and used to determine the unpolarized and polarized spin structure functions of the nucleons. The influence of the individual angular momentum valence quark components will be discussed.
