This seminar will provide an overview on the status, challenges and prospects of Lattice QCD from a practicioner´s point of view. Special focus will be put on the recent algorithmic and computational strategies being developed to provide theoretical estimations of quantities
of phenomenological interest such as quark masses or decay constants. A glimpse on the current High Performance Computing strategies of the Lattice QCD community will also be included in the discussion. The presentation is meant to be accessible to non-experts in the area. Early career students are especially welcome.
