Like muon spin rotation, βNMR uses the parity violating weak decay to detect the magnetic resonance properties of the radioactive spin. The most common probe is the heavy isotope 8Li. I will briefly introduce the technique emphasizing its similarities and differences with μSR. I will then illustrate some of its applications: Li+ ionic diffusion in rutile TiO2, correlated metals such as LaNiO3, magnetic heterostructures and topological insulators.
