Correlation functions and Wilson loops are key observables in gauge field theories. In conformally invariant theories, these two objects are related, in a certain kinematical limit. In this talk, I will discuss this duality for the case where the Wilson loop has an additional insertion of the Lagrangian operator. After an introduction to the subject matter, I will explain how we can use the operator product expansion (OPE) to translate the known relation into one involving more fundamental objects known as OPE coefficients. Finally, I will show how these objects are related to a quantity known as the cusp anomalous dimension, which is an example of how a conformally invariant theory can give information about QCD.
