Trasgo detectors have been proposed as a new tool for the regular study of cosmic rays. Unlike typical cosmic ray detectors, trasgos offer an electron/muon identification feature together with the capability of measuring clusters of electrons arriving simultaneously to the detector and, with a rough electromagnetic calorimetry. All these features open up new ways of extracting information about the cosmic rays arriving to the ground. In addition to the existing detectors, several miniTrasgos are being built in order to deploy them in different Countries with different magnetic field thresholds.
